Wagon Landing Tree Farm
About Us
About Us
Our first Christmas Trees were planted in 1990 and our family run tree farm opened for sales in 2000. We raise high quality Christmas trees - and now apples, too. We are proud members of the local community and have partnered with the Amery FFA club and donated to Amery Food Pantry and local churches.
Our tree farm welcomes back many families year after year to cut their Christmas Tree, and now a new generation of visitors. We look forward to having our guests come to the Wagon Landing Orchard opening in fall of 2022 to pick their favorite variety of apples.
Our many updates include our Log Cabin Gift Shop which has featured local artists. Our yard features a gas fire pit, Santa's house and an old fashioned wagon for kids to climb in which creates a great photo opportunity. Our wagon rides pulled by an antique tractor is part of the tradition. We take great pride that our customers experience is always welcoming with excellent customer service. We look forward to you visiting our farm this season.
About Our Trees
About Our Trees
Most of our trees are trimmed each summer, although we leave some tree for those who prefer the "unsheared" look as well as those who want to fill their tall vaulted ceilings with the beauty of a tall tree.
We use minimum herbicides or fertilizers--instead we mow and hand trim for that perfectly shaped tree. Part of our tree farm includes an apple orchard, mature Black Walnuts and also balsam, spruce, and fraser trees that have grown into a beautiful forest with hiking and skiing paths.

An Idea is Born - Wagon Landing Tree Farm est. 1988
Our family has many years experience of raising trees in Oconto County Wisconsin for wholesale and retail. We have had tree lots in Green Bay, Appleton and suburban Chicago before purchasing our Polk County farm in 1988.
First Trees Planted
First Trees Planted
Our first trees at this farm were planted 1990 - We have focused on raising the best quality fir trees for Christmas trees suited to our region: Fraser, Cannan, Balsam, and Black Hill Spruce.
Open for Business
Open for Business
Our farm first opened for sales in 2000. Since that time, we have been a family-run business working closely with the community and employing local residents as part of the Wagon Landing Tree Farm team. In fact, our entire family and many Amery and Saint Paul friends have been been part of the Wagon Landing team over these years helping with planting, trimming, maintenance and sales.
A Log Cabin Addition
A Log Cabin Addition
In 2004, we added a beautiful log cabin to the Wagon Landing Tree Farm property which was built by our Amish neighborhood. Initially, this cabin was the site of the gift shop which has since moved into it's own log building.
We are grateful for our partnership with the local Amish community who built the cabin gift shop and other amenities.

The first apple trees at Wagon Landing Tree Farm were planted in 2017 and includes a variety of different apples for picking and tasting. We look forward to having our guests come to the Wagon Landing Orchard in the future.
